Description
NESP LD25 1200 ft Lock --------- The new lock at Lock 25 will be constructed in the downstream direction in the auxiliary miter gate bay, which has minimum provisions for an adjacent 360-foot-long lock and is referred to as Location 3 in the System Feasibility Study (September 2004). This contract will consist of construction of a new 1,200-foot drilled shaft-founded lock in the auxiliary miter gate bay, a 1,200-foot upstream ported guard wall, and a 650-foot downstream guard wall. The existing 600-foot lock will remain in place and once the new lock is constructed and operational, will become an auxiliary lock chamber used primarily by recreation traffic or when the 1,200 ft lock is out of service. ------------ SEE ATTACHMENT FOR FULL DETAILS OF UPCOMING REQUIREMENT SOLICITATION. --------- Attachment 0004 Plans (Volume 1-7) and Attachment 0005 Navisworks Federated Model must be requested via email to Contract Specialist, Whitney Dee at [email protected]. Upon request they will be sent via DoD SAFE, since the files are too large to attach within PIEE or send via email. ------ SEE UPDATE LABELED 0817 FOR FULL DETAILS OF UPCOMING PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT.
