2026-08-27 - Questions and Answers Document I has been issued. 2026.08.20 - Pre-bid Conference and site visit presentation and sign-in roster ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REPLACE THE CHILLER IN BUILDING 1055. This notice is for a sealed bid solicitation for the New Mexico Air National Guard (NMANG) located on Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico for removing and replacing chiller units in Building 1055 with highly efficient CARRIER and RELIABLE CONTROLS (Brand Name Only). Please be aware that there are brand name requirements for the chiller. This sealed bid is utilizing RFO FAR Part 12, RFO FAR Part 14 and RFO FAR Part 36; FAC 2026-01. Please review the solicitation document for the date, time, and location of the pre-bid conference and site visit. Please review the required information that must be submitted to attend the site visit. The deadline to submit questions and requests for information (RFI) for this requirement is 11:00am MDT August 25, 2026. Questions and RFI submitted after the deadline may not be answered or acknowledged. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for this requirement. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning Contractors, the size standard is $19.0 Million. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(e), the magnitude of this construction project is between $350,000 and $450,000. Bids must be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope directly to the physical bid opening; electronic, mailed, or facsimile submissions will not be accepted. Furthermore, unsealed bids will not be accepted. To be eligible, your sealed bid must be submitted in person no earlier than one hour before the scheduled opening time. Late submissions will be rejected immediately without exception. Please verify the exact date, time, and location in the solicitation document to ensure compliance. Please note that the location of the bid opening is different location than the pre-bid conference / site visit, again please review the solicitation document for the location, date, and time of the bid opening. In accordance with DFARS 52.204-7, all prospective bidders interested in submitting a bid in response to this solicitation must have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Lack of registration in SAM prior to the bid opening will make an offeror ineligible for award. The website for SAM is www.SAM.gov.
