Description

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Shiprock Service Unit in Shiprock, NM intends to restrict competition and make a sole source award to Red Heritage Medical, LLC (UEI: RPGHTKJNCY55), an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE), for a Hologic Trident HD Specimen Radiography System, pursuant to the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47. The anticipated delivery is 60 days after award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334510 – Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with a Small Business Administration size standard of 1,250 employees. In accordance with RFO 12.102, for acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold, competition will be restricted because market research has identified Red Heritage Medical LLC as the only responsible and capable ISBEE with demonstrated experience furnishing Hologic products to the Government and demonstrated access to Hologic products and associated OEM resources necessary to satisfy the Government’s requirement. This Notice of Intent to Restrict Competition is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated product may provide a capability statement. Interested vendors must demonstrate their eligibility and actual ability to furnish the Trident HD Specimen Radiography System through an authorized OEM channel. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 10:00 AM (MDT) on September 9, 2026, via email to [email protected]. A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
