Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement to purchase two (2) seats of software licenses for HyperWorks/SEAM from Siemens Industry Software Inc. as Siemens has acquired Altair Engineering, Inc, the previous proprietary owner of the software. Altair Engineering Inc. was the sole owner and developer of this proprietary software including maintenance and support. The continued use of this software is needed to support the mission readiness for testing and vehicle operations. Siemens Industry Software Inc is now the only source that supplies the software and support needed to perform NUWCDIVNPT's operations. See attached RFQ for additional information.
