Respirator Test Fit Preventative Maintenance and Calibration

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF hereby publicizes its intent to solicit a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for commercial services. In accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), this action is executed under the authority of RFO 12.201-1 (Simplified Procedures for Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and is publicized in accordance with RFO 12.202(a) and RFO 5.101(a). Intended Source: Company Name: OHD , LLLP JOSHUA PILGREEN 2687 JOHN HAWKINS PKWY HOOVER AL 35244-4003 CAGE: 04CL8 UEI: KDQPJVNC3XN5 The government requires yearly maintenance repairs and calibration services of the twenty six (26) OHD Quantifit2 Respirator Test Fit machine units, manufactured by OHD , LLLP. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a sole-source purchase order to OHD , LLLP , as it has been deemed that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement due to patents on the technology for the Quantifit2 mach9ines, patent number US 8,528,559, B2 maintained by OHD , LLLP. This notice of intent is not a formal request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will be issued to the intended source after the expiration of this notice. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties must demonstrate their ability to meet the Government's strict technical and safety requirements (including access to OEM proprietary data) by submitting documentation electronically to the Contracting Specialist at [email protected] and Contracting Officer at [email protected] no later than the response date and time specified above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
