Description
AMENDMENT FA853826R0012 03, is issued due to an update to the PWS, specifically Section 4.5.2 (Tooling and Test Equipment) and update Regulatory References IAW RFO. Also an administrative correction, incorporating the Cross Reference Matrixs as Attachment 5 to the Solicitation. AMENDMENT FA853826R0012 02, is issued to extend the proposal receipt date from 20 July 2026 5:00PM EST, to 08 September 2026 5:00PM EST. All other terms and conditions shall remain the same. AMENDMENT FA853826R0012 01, is issued to update the unit of measure and pricing columns for all Repair/BER line items, fully incorporate the cybersecurity compliance clause text, and refresh standard regulatory clauses. The proposal submission deadline remains unchanged and is 20 July 2026. C-5 Nose Landing Gear (NLG) Door Actuators Assemblies LH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-160-6520UC PN: 177560-32 RH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-160-6519UC PN: 177560-33 LH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-237-0231UC PN: 177560-34 RH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-237-0230UC PN: 177560-35 These actuator assemblies are part of the C-5 NLG Door Actuation System. The NLG doors consist of two inboard doors and two outboard doors and are actuated separately from the gear. When the NLG is extended, the doors are held open by the actuators, and when the landing gear is retracted, the actuators close the doors to enclose the landing gear and streamline the aircraft. This overhaul effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be five (5) years. It will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods. The Best Estimated Quantities for each ordering period are listed below. The USAF anticipates the acquisition will be Full and Open Competition utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Interested parties shall be registered in the Joint Certification Program and approved to view Export Control, and shall submit evidence of their certification in order to obtain the associated technical data packages. To obtain copies of the bidset documents, an interested vendor shall be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Interested vendors are to request copies of the bidsets by providing their CAGE number to both Alyssa Tanner ([email protected]) and Stacylee Johnson ([email protected]) to verify registration in JCP. Upon verification, bidset zip files will be sent via the "DOD Safe" website. To become registered in the JCP, interested vendors can do so at the following website: https://www.dla.mil/logistics-operations/services/joint-certification-program/ The RFP and attachments are included within the attachments area of this solicitation. All attachments are attached separately for convenience. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are encouraged to register on the site to receive notifications regarding the solicitation and all amendments/revisions.
