Solicitation, C-5 MLG Trunnion Bearing NSN: 3120-00-766-2056UC Part No. 4F23832-103A The Air Force has a requirement for a depot-level re-manufacturing effort for the C-5 Trunnion Bearing. This item is a large, plain self-aligning, spherical bearing. It is the main pivot bearing used during the retraction and extension of the C-5 MLG. The anticipated re-manufacturing service will provide serviceable assets to meet yearly demand for Air Force field level and C-5 Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM). This re-manufacturing effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be five (5) years. It will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods. To be eligible for award, offerors must be on the Government's pre-approved qualified source list OR submit a complete SAR package that meets all requirements specified in the Source Pre-Qualification Requirements document and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The USAF anticipates the acquisition will be Full and Open Competition, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) for each ordering period are listed below. Interested parties shall be registered in the Joint Certification Program and approved to view Export Control, and shall submit evidence of their certification in order to obtain the associated technical data packages. To obtain copies of the bidset documents, an interested vendor shall be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Interested vendors are to request copies of the bidsets by providing their CAGE number to both Alyssa Tanner ([email protected]) and Karen Beckford ([email protected]) to verify registration in JCP. Upon verification, bidset zip files will be sent via the "DOD Safe" website. To become registered in the JCP, interested vendors can do so at the following website: https://www.dla.mil/logistics-operations/services/joint-certification-program/ The RFP and attachments are included within the attachments area of this solicitation. All attachments are attached separately for convenience. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are encouraged to register on the site to receive notifications regarding the solicitation and all amendments/revisions.
