Description

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF), located in Benicia, California, has a requirement for the replacement and installation of a Load Moment Indicator (LMI) system on an Appleton Marine crane installed aboard the self-propelled crane barge MARY ANN (FS-65) as outlined in the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The Government is seeking a turnkey solution for a vendor to provide the following services: Removal and disposal of the existing LMI system Procurement and installation of the new LMI system Operational testing and OSHA certification of the crane Refer to Sections 10 and 11 of the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for submittal instructions and evaluation criteria. RFQ Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to provide Point of Contacts (POCs) for the crane manufacturer (Appleton Marine). Refer to Questions and Answers (Q&As).
