This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. The priority is to find two or more Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number and (h) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS GENERAL: VA San Diego Audiology and Speech Pathology is replacing the following outdated equipment: TIMS 2000 SP recommended life cycle expiration date as determined by the Biomedical Department. Audiology and Speech Pathology has a requirement for one TIMS 200 SP for the La Jolla Clinic. BACKGROUND: The VA San Diego Audiology and Speech Pathology Service has a requirement for a TIMS 2000 SP. PURPOSE: The TIMS 2000 System is a PC based video recording device that connects to any fluoroscope. TIMS records high-resolution / high-frame rate video with synchronized audio, and automatically converts the study to DICOM format for archival to any PACS or VNA. SCOPE: VA San Diego Audiology and Speech Pathology Service is requesting contractors to provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceed the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the needs of the department. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Equipment must have the physical characteristics to enable the government to perform the capabilities. Standardization is the rationale for staying with e3 Diagnostics TIMS 2000 SP, GOV TIMS Trade-In Discount COMMENTS: Pricing includes the trade in of your current TIMS system for a discount of $5000 per system Pricing includes a new monitor Pricing includes new connections for one modality Pricing includes on-site Installation and Training TIMS System Prices Include a LCD Monitor, a one-year license renewal of the existing TIMS Review software license, and Typical Onsite Installation and Training. TIMS Installation and Training: Includes installation on one modality over approximately 1.5 days in one visit Each additional modality is $3,995. Consult sales for part numbers Modality & modality room must be unused at scheduled install time Up to 4 Hours of On-Site Installation at one location Up to 4 Hours of User Training at one location Valid for US and Canada only.
