THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY: This announcement seeks information from the industry, which will be used for preliminary planning purposes for procurement. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. THIS IS STRICTLY MARKET RESEARCH. Patient safety lifts The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, who have the capability to provide Patient safety lifts. All interested firms must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) to be eligible for the award of Government contracts. Interested parties responding to this Sources Sought request shall submit the following information at a minimum: (1) Company name and address point of contact with phone number and SAM UEI. (2) Documentation relating to performance capability, current point of contact, and phone number). (3) Socio-economic status to identify the business class as a large business, SDVOSB, VOSB, small business, Woman Owned, etc. (4) Place of manufacture (5) Any other pertinent company documentation prior to submission of offers to a solicitation. Any SD/VOSB firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice must also provide proof of registration in the SBA Vet Cert prior to submitting offers to a solicitation. This market research is for informational and planning purposes. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. Please be advised that the government will not pay any costs for responses and information submitted. All submissions are acceptable via email to [email protected] RESULTS INFORMATION: Respondents will not be notified of the results, and it is at the discretion of the Government to utilize results. Firms responding to this Sources Sought announcement, who fail to meet all requirements as stated above, and who fail to provide ALL the required information requested, will not be used to help the Government make the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought announcement. Salient characteristics (QTY 21) Patient Safety Lifts All ceiling mounted hoists, rails, and components must comply with ISO 10535:2021 xy Systems Must be able to be flush mounted to a structural ceiling, integrated Into Suspended (Drop) Ceilings, or wall mounted. Cover 5m X 10m area with trainer (QTY 1) Cover 4m X 4m area (QTY 9) Cover 4m x 3m area (QTY 2) Cover 3m x 3m area (QTY 1) Linear Tracks Must be able to be flush mounted to a structural ceiling, integrated Into Suspended (Drop) Ceilings, or wall mounted. 3m Linear Track (QTY 3) Must be made from Aluminum 6063 T6 or better. Must have an anodized surface finish or better. Must support up to 550 lbs. or better 4m Linear Track (QTY 4) Must be made from Aluminum 6063 T6 or better. Must have an anodized surface finish or better. Must support up 825 lbs. or better 6m Linear Track (QTY 1) Must be made from Aluminum 6063 T6 or better. Must have an anodized surface finish or better. Must support up to 550 lbs. or better Patient Lift Supports minimum 550 lbs. (QTY 17) Motor Speed: 60 millimeters every second or better. Horizontal Motor Option: Can include a motorized horizontal traverse along the ceiling rail, operated via hand control or IR remote. Digital System Integration: Supports Wi Fi connectivity for usage monitoring, service alerts, and data logging through a centralized digital platform. Safety Features: Includes mechanical and electrical emergency lowering, emergency stop, and overload protection. Manual Position Locks. Operating Noise: 50 to 60 dB(A). Battery System: Uses 24 V NiMH batteries with automatic activation, soft start/stop, and charge times of about 2 hours (for this capacity class). Main body dimensions: 580 mm × 345 mm × 156 mm. Impact resistant. Flame retardant housing. Continuous In-Rail Charging. LCD screen capable of displaying patient weight and lift usage information. Patient Lift Supports minimum 825 lbs. (QTY 4) Motor Speed: 60 millimeters every second or better. Horizontal Motor Option: Can include a motorized horizontal traverse along the ceiling rail, operated via hand control or IR remote. Digital System Integration: Supports Wi Fi connectivity for usage monitoring, service alerts, and data logging through a centralized digital platform. Four attachment points for a safe, stable, and comfortable lift. Works with ceiling and mobile lifts and fits standard slings. Strong, rust resistant metal covered with soft, easy to clean foam. Lightweight (4 lbs.) and easy to handle. Medium size (~24 wide) Trainer Module Motor (QTY 1) Reducing bodyweight, relieves up to 100 kg (220 lbs.), Built into the ceiling hoist added to system, controlled via the hand control interface. Safe exercise sessions: positioning lock and fall protection, enabling standing exercises, squats, steps, balance training, and sit-to-stand movements. 30-minute training limit: each session lasts up to 30 minutes per full battery charge, with clear indicators for weight relief and remaining time. After session, will automatically resume normal lift mode. Battery management: 1 hour of charge delivers about 10 minutes of training time. When training ends, it reverts to standard lifting and resumes charging. Installation (QTY 21) Install lift systems in 21 rooms. Labor and the hardware necessary to install the lift systems. Must support up to Level II that is identified in the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA). Perform weight testing and certification of the installed lift systems. Removal of 18 existing lift systems.
