Synopsis

The U.S. Embassy Djibouti's Public Diplomacy Section announces an open competition for organizations to implement English Language Teaching Services programs that strengthen English-language proficiency, workforce readiness, and professional communication skills among Djiboutian participants. Programs should support youth, educators, entrepreneurs, civil servants, and emerging professionals by improving practical English communication skills while promoting employability, entrepreneurship, leadership, and greater understanding of American society, educational opportunities, and professional practices. Successful proposals will advance U.S. public diplomacy objectives by strengthening people-to-people ties between the United States and Djibouti and expanding access to high-quality English-language instruction throughout the country.

Who can apply

Eligible applicants include registered not-for-profit organizations, civil society organizations (CSOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), public and private educational institutions, governmental institutions, and public international organizations. Applicants may be based in Djibouti or the United States. For-profit entities are not eligible.

How to apply
