Synopsis

The purpose of this Request for Required Documents is for the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) to provide the University of Southern Maine (USM) with continuation funding in the amount of $3.6 million for the final 16-month budget period of a 60-month project (September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027). USM will continue to: review, clean, and analyze data collected from grantee performance reports; maintain that information in a database; work with OVW to fulfill Congressional reporting requirements and respond to data requests; provide training and technical assistance to grantees on collecting data to assess their own effectiveness and accurately completing their performance reports; and ensure OVW has timely information it requires for grant monitoring and oversight of federal funds. A significant piece of the remaining 16 months of this project will be completing the creation of a streamlined performance reporting tool for OVW grantees. Additionally, USM will facilitate the launch and maintenance of a public dashboard summarizing performance reporting data.
