Synopsis

ACL plans to award up to five (5) cooperative agreements to implement an evidence-informed, APS-specific substance use disorder intervention designed to increase the availability of in-home and community-based social, health, and mental/behavioral health services for APS clients and their families who are impacted by the opioid epidemic. The goal of this work is to equip APS professionals with the tools and training needed to improve the health and well-being of individuals experiencing abuse, neglect, and exploitation who may also be affected by opioid and other substance abuse.
